Those who cannot find an appointment, those who live in another city, or those who want to seek the opinion of the faculty members of the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine will be able to meet with the doctors online.
Dean of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Tufan Tükek said the following about the service:
“At the moment, despite the increase in supply, there were negative thoughts from our citizens in the form of an incredible density in hospitals, not being able to find an appointment, due to the high demand. This was really on the point of not being a situation that could be managed by applying to hospitals.

As Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, we have turned to this field, and we have tended to solve the health problems of our patients by meeting our physicians and patients on digital platforms, that is, online, and by having interviews there before they come to the hospital. We signed a contract, a protocol.”
Appointments for online interviews can be made on the website of the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.

Tükek said, “You first determine which department you want to go to. Then, you see the physicians in the list given to you on that subject, and click on the physician you want to make an appointment with. By making an appointment with that doctor for a certain time, you can meet online online from your home. In this way, our citizens and patients who want to get a second opinion will reach the experienced teachers of Istanbul Medical Faculty,” he said.
